Our School Leadership

Lacey Yoho
Director and Head of School
Mrs. Yoho earned her BS from the University of Delaware in Elementary and Special Education and is a certified Reading Specialist. She also earned an MS in Classroom Reading from Wright State University. Her educational experience includes 10 years as Children’s Ministry Director at Grace Bible Church, 3 years of public school teaching, 14 years home schooling her six children and teaching for a homeschool co-op using the classical model. Within the homeschool community she also serves as an educational evaluator and is pursuing Level I certification in Classical Education from Classical University. In her free time she enjoys sewing, reading, and playing games with her family.

Erik Beam
Director of Operations/School Shepherd
Mr. Beam is a graduate of Liberty University with a B.S. in Religion and has completed additional graduate and seminary courses in ministry related areas. He has previously served as Pastor of Student Ministries at Hope Hill Church and is currently Director of Youth Ministries at Grace Bible Church in Lorton, VA.

Ron Yoho
Director and Instructor
Mr. Yoho earned a BS in Engineering from the University of Evansville, an MS in Electrical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology and completed additional graduate studies in Electrical Engineering at Tufts University. He is also a graduate of the Air War College and the Armed Forces Staff College and has 45 years of experience in organizational management and leadership as an AF Officer and Federal Civil Servant. As part of a life-long interest and effort in effective teaching, he has completed the Applied Principles of Learning course at Walk Thru the Bible, is a qualified user of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and is pursuing Level I certification in Classical Education from Classical University.

William Milne
Director and Instructor
Mr. Milne earned a BA in Business Administration from Columbia College, an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MA in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College. His educational experience includes faculty member at the United States Coast Guard Academy and Commander of the Coast Guard Training Center at Yorktown.

May perform all or a subset of the following tasks subject to work hours and capabilities:
• Manage student arrival, dismissal and attendance records
• Serve as primary contact for parents during school hours
• Maintain/monitor facility securing
• Address student behavior/discipline issues in support of classroom teachers
• Substitute for classroom teachers on an ad hoc basis
• Set up furniture and equipment in support of transition from Sunday to weekday configuration and vice-versa

Donna Christophersen
Mathematics
Mrs. Christophersen earned a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MA in Education and Human Development from George Washington University. Her educational experience includes 12 years of teaching in private Christian education and 10 years as Director of Education for a private Christian school.

Renae Crawford
Kindergarten Teacher
Mrs. Crawford earned her BS in Elementary Education from Methodist University of Fayetteville, North Carolina. She taught first grade for two years until she moved to Virginia where she taught preschool for 16 years. Renae also has extensive experience teaching children in Awana and in Sunday school. In her free time, she enjoys supporting her kids in soccer and swimming.

Carlise Giles
Science
Mrs. Giles earned a BS in Biological Sciences from the University of Alaska in Fairbanks. For the past 11 years she has been a stay-at-home mother to her three children, and a volunteer in various organizations. Recently she joined the Grace Bible Church Staff as the GraceKids Charging Up Coordinator.

Hiwot "Hiwi" Hackett
Science/Mathematics
Mrs. Hackett earned her BS Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Virginia. She later earned an MS in Health Administration from George Mason University. Her educational experience includes serving as a tutor in Classical Conversations and Kindergarten teacher at Logos. In her spare time, Hiwi loves spending time outdoors with her family, catching up with friends, and reading.

Melia Harnage
Assistant Teacher Kindergarten
Mrs. Harnage has an Associate Science degree from Northern Virginia Community College. She has multiple years of experience in working with students as a Kindergarten and Art Assistant and daycare provider.

Kevin Jeanes
Technology and Worship
Mr. Jeanes has completed 49 credit hours towards a BA in Communications and has 18 years of experience as a Student Ministries Director and Worship Leader.

Sarah Kosbob
Lower Grammar Teacher
Miss Kosbob earned a BA in history and an MS in elementary education from George Mason University. She has 15 years of experience in public school and 13 years of experience in a homeschool, hybrid school and tutoring for students from preschool through ninth grade. When she isn’t teaching, Sarah enjoys traveling, reading, sewing, and ice cream.

Marie Kramek
Music/Art Appreciation
Mrs. Kramek earned an Associate degree in Veterinary Technology and a BS in Christian Leadership. Her educational experience includes 13 years in home schooling her three children and teaching in home school co-ops. In her spare time she enjoys camping, reading, and fiddling with music and art.

Charissa Longerbeam
Upper Grammar Teacher
Mrs. Longerbeam earned a BS in Elementary Education and Linguistics from the College of William and Mary. She spent the next decade in the classroom: substitute teaching, co-teaching, and lead teaching in private schools. She has 15 years of experience in homeschooling her 4 children, teaching in a homeschool co-op and in Children’s Ministry. In her free time, she enjoys reading, journaling, and painting.

Julie Milne
Science
Dr. Milne earned her BA in Spanish from Wofford College and her Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed specialty training in Family Medicine. In addition to the teaching inherent in parenting her seven children, she has many years of experience as a Sunday School and Good News Club teacher. In her free time, she enjoys geocaching, reading detective novels, and playing games with her family.

Martina Milne
Assistant Teacher
Mrs. Milne earned an Associate of Arts degree from Northern Virginia Community College. She has 30 years of experience including serving as public and private school classroom and library aide, Good News Club leader and Sunday School teacher. In her spare time she enjoys being “Nana” to 13 grandchildren, family games and pickleball.

Lisa Paul
Assistant Teacher
Mrs. Paul has three years of experience as a Teaching Assistant with at private Christian school and 5 years of experience teaching after school STEM classes. She holds an Associate’s degree in Communication Design with a specialization in Computer Graphics. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors with her family whether it be hiking, biking, kayaking, and playing sports.

Kari Smith
Language Arts
Mrs. Smith earned a BA in English from George Mason University. Her educational experience includes homeschooling her three children for six years, teaching at a homeschool co-op for four years and serving on the Women’s Ministry leadership team at Grace Bible Church for eight years. She is an enthusiastic learner who loves classic books and deep conversations. She also enjoys knitting, exploring the outdoors with her family, and reading aloud to her three children.

Donna Tolin
Lower Grammar Teacher
Mrs. Tolin has a BA in foreign languages, and BS in environmental and occupational health from New Mexico State University. She has taught in Children’s Ministry at various US Army posts and currently at Grace Bible Church. She also has substitute taught in public schools, has homeschooled, and has volunteered at a charter school. In her spare time, Donna enjoys trail running, coaching girls’ softball, and reading classic books aloud to their children.

Jennifer Wootton
Assistant Teacher Lower School
Mrs. Wootton earned a BA in History from the University of Southern Mississippi and an MA in Theological Studies from the Southern Baptist Seminary. She has 16 years of teaching experience in multiple roles across preschool, children’s ministry and adults.

Todd Yoho
History
Mr. Yoho earned a BS in Science and Technology from James Madison University and a MS in Education Administration from Grand Canyon University. He has 19 years of experience as a public middle school classroom teacher and assistant principal.

Vicki Yoho
Mathematics Department Head
Mrs. Yoho earned her BS in Mathematics Education from the University of Evansville. Her educational experience includes 19 years as a teacher in private Christian and public schools, three years of teaching adults in industry, 10 years of individual tutoring and career-long involvement in middle school through adult curriculum development. In addition to teaching, her favorite activities include being Gram to 14 grandchildren, singing in her church choir, working puzzles of all kinds, reading, and going to the beach.

Charity Yu
Mathematics/Science
Mrs. Yu earned a BS in Special Education from the University of New Mexico and has three years of experience teaching middle school students in public and private Christian schools.
